Withering Flower - Hiranya R

Withering Flower.

A quiet poem about beauty, impermanence and the self.

Withering Flower explores the delicate space between beauty and its inevitable passing. The flower becomes a symbol of the self — something cherished, beautiful and alive, yet never untouched by time.

There’s a melancholic romance to the work, inviting us to sit with the idea that everything we love eventually changes. Rather than resisting that impermanence, Hiranya turns it into something beautiful to contemplate.

For Small Wonders, Withering Flower captures one of those deeper, fleeting truths hidden within something as simple as a flower — a reminder to notice beauty while it’s here.
