Where the Paddocks Meet the Sky - Sue Collecutt

Where the Paddocks Meet the Sky

Take the long way. There’s plenty to see along the way.

Where the Paddocks Meet the Sky is a joyful celebration of the Australian countryside, patchwork paddocks stretching towards distant hills, open skies overhead and the quiet beauty found along the backroads.

Sue’s loose marks, playful colour and simplified forms give the landscape a wonderfully relaxed character. Rather than capturing one exact place, she celebrates the feeling of travelling through the country with no particular rush, noticing the little details that make the journey memorable.

A fitting Small Wonder, because sometimes the best discoveries are the unexpected ones, found simply because you decided to take the long way round.
