Where Light Lands - Bec Talbot

Where Light Lands.

Sometimes, it’s the way the light falls that we remember.

Where Light Lands is a quiet meeting of colour, texture and light. Soft skies, earthy hills and subtle flashes of gold create a landscape that feels familiar without belonging to any one particular place.

Working with layered acrylics and expressive mark-making, Bec captures the feeling of a fleeting landscape rather than a specific location — something half-remembered, sensed more than defined.

There’s a beautiful stillness here. A reminder that the smallest glimpses of a place can stay with us long after we’ve left.

For Small Wonders, Where Light Lands is about finding meaning in those fleeting moments when light, landscape and memory quietly come together.
