Submerged Silhouette - Amanda Cameron

Submerged Silhouette

Suspended in sunlight. Somewhere between water and memory.

Submerged Silhouette captures a delicate figure suspended beneath the surface on a summer day, a fleeting moment of stillness surrounded by light, water and movement.

Amanda Cameron’s layered impasto technique gives the water a tangible presence, allowing the paint to echo the weight, texture and shifting movement of the landscape. The silhouette feels almost dreamlike, as though caught between the clarity of the present moment and the hazy way summer memories live on.

For Small Wonders, Submerged Silhouette celebrates the magic found in those fleeting moments when light, water and memory come together — gone in an instant, but somehow staying with us.
