Stellar - Eliza Walker

Stellar.

A little colour, a little movement, and plenty of room to look again.

Built through layers of oil stick and acrylic, this work explores the playful space between recognisable forms and pure abstraction. Expressive marks and spontaneous brushwork create movement across the canvas, with each layer adding something new to discover.

There’s an instinctive quality to the work — a feeling that the painting has been allowed to unfold rather than be overly controlled. It invites you to slow down, follow the marks and find your own little moments within the composition.

For Small Wonders, it’s a celebration of the unexpected details that reveal themselves when we take a closer look.
