Shadow Gums -Iantha Palioudakis

Shadow Gums.

When the landscape becomes a study in light and shadow.

Shadow Gums captures the long shadows of iconic Australian gum trees stretching across the rugged landscape of Kalbarri. Seen from above, the familiar trees become almost graphic shapes, their shadows creating movement and contrast across the earth.

Iantha’s aerial perspective reveals a quieter side of the Australian landscape — where light, texture and the simple forms of nature come together to create something unexpectedly beautiful.

For Small Wonders, Shadow Gums reminds us that even the landscapes we think we know can reveal something new when we take the time to look differently.
