Ready Steady - Kirsten Courtenay

Ready Steady

That split second before you launch.

Ready Steady captures the delicious anticipation of a jumper poised to take the plunge, body coiled, waiting, with that unmistakable feeling that something is about to happen.

Kristen Courtenay’s vibrant, energetic brushwork brings warmth and movement to the scene, capturing her love of sun, water and those fleeting moments that feel completely free. There’s a playful sense of possibility here, the pause before the leap, when anything could happen.

For Small Wonders, Ready Steady celebrates the thrill found in a tiny moment of anticipation, that breath before you jump, dive or simply let go.
