Mysto Bank Left in 50s Auto Pink - Lara Day

Mysto Bank Left in 50s Auto Pink

The wave of her dreams — turned all the way up.

In Mysto Bank Left in 50s Auto Pink, Lara Day transforms the perfect wave into something bold, playful and almost dreamlike. The hyperreal ocean scene is brought to life through thick, expressive impasto, with layers of oil paint building a tactile surface that makes the movement of the wave feel almost within reach.

Set against a striking 1950s-inspired automotive pink, the familiar beauty of the ocean takes on a completely different energy — unexpected, optimistic and full of personality.

For Lara, Small Wonders is about finding joy in the things we love and noticing the beauty in everyday moments. Here, a dream wave becomes something more: a small hit of colour, movement and ocean magic for your wall.
