Molten - Eliza Walker

Molten.

Colour in motion. Marks that feel like they’re still moving.

Molten plays with the energy of colour, layering and expressive brushwork. Oil stick and acrylic build across the canvas, creating shifting forms and textured marks that feel fluid, spontaneous and full of movement.

Rather than telling you exactly what to see, the work leaves room for your eye to wander — discovering shapes, colour relationships and little moments within the layers.

For Small Wonders, Molten celebrates the unexpected beauty that can emerge when colour and instinct take over, reminding us that sometimes the most interesting things happen when we stop trying to control them.
