Daffodils - Alex Kyriakacis

Daffodils

A little burst of spring, captured from life.

Daffodils is a quiet studio still life celebrating the simple beauty of these bright, familiar flowers. Painted from life, Alex captures their delicate forms through her love of colour, light and the subtle emotions they can bring to an everyday scene.

There’s something wonderfully fleeting about flowers — here today, gone tomorrow — which makes taking a moment to really notice them feel all the more special.

Part of Small Wonders, Daffodils celebrates the joy found in simple things: a handful of flowers, beautiful light and a quiet moment in the studio.
