Almost Elsewhere - Kate Jansen

Almost Elsewhere

A little poolside daydream, somewhere in the sunshine.

A turquoise pool, a soft pink sky and palms stretching into the afternoon — Almost Elsewhere captures the irresistible feeling of being on holiday, with nowhere to be and no reason to hurry.

Inspired by Palm Springs and Kate Jansen’s love of mid-century modern architecture, the work brings together clean graphic lines, tropical details and warm, nostalgic colour. Her playful compositions evoke those imagined places that feel strangely familiar, somewhere between a favourite holiday memory and a destination still waiting to be discovered.

There’s a lovely sense of calm in this little escape. The kind of place where the afternoon stretches on, the palms cast long shadows and everyday life feels a world away.

A small wonder for anyone who dreams of a little more sunshine at home.
