Aglow celebrates the quiet magic of light and colour through layers of hand stitching, beads and sequins that radiate from the centre of the piece. The combination of texture and embellishment creates a sense of warmth, movement and energy, while inviting the eye to wander through its intricate surface.

Elizabeth describes her practice as “thread painting”, using stitch and bead as a painter might use brushstrokes. From a distance, Aglow has an almost painterly quality; look closer and the tiny details begin to reveal themselves.

A small wonder that rewards taking a second look.
