Aegean Fragment - Robert Boscarino

Aegean Fragment

A little piece of the Cyclades, weathered by time.

In Aegean Fragment, Robert Boscarino focuses on the quiet beauty of an aged piece of blue-and-white Greek pottery, resting against a textured island wall. Its worn surface and imperfect edges tell a story of time, while the unmistakable blue-and-white palette evokes the sun-drenched simplicity of the Cyclades.

Robert’s realist approach brings attention to the details that might otherwise be overlooked — the texture of the pottery, the marks left by age and the weathered character of the wall behind it.

For Small Wonders, Robert finds beauty in an object that has lived a life. A small fragment of Greek history, carrying the colours, textures and atmosphere of an island far beyond the frame.
